Pre-K Program 2019-20

Dear AVCS Community Members,

We are pleased to announce that in the District’s on-going effort to support early learning opportunities at AVCS for our children and communities, we will once again be supporting multiple Pre-Kindergarten programs at AVCS for the 2019-20 school year.  Programs will continue to be provided at multiple sites within our School District in both AuSable Forks and Keeseville.

The AuSable Valley Central School District’s Pre-Kindergarten Early Childhood Program allows us to offer a free and high quality educational environment for children who are 4 years of age on or before December 1, 2019, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or disability.  The program will be a full day program open to families of the District. Program hours will be from 7:45-2:00. Breakfast and lunch will be provided under the provisions of our school breakfast/ lunch program.

Parents or Guardians who are interested in registering their children for the 2019-20 school year can complete the application (available soon), or call the Pre-K Coordinator June Zerrahn at (518) 834-2800 x 4124 to request a registration package. Applications, along with supporting documentation must be received by June Zerrahn at the AuSable Forks Elementary School, PO Box 727, AuSable Forks, NY 12912 by May 3, 2019.   The program will have a limited number of openings and a lottery process will be used by the District to select students for the program. Any students who do not get selected will be placed on a waiting list.

We continue to be very excited about this terrific opportunity and look forward to working together to provide high quality Pre-Kindergarten Programs to the children of our wonderful communities. Any questions regarding the program or the registration process should be directed to June Zerrahn at  518-834-2800 x 4124.

Thank you for your continued support of our School District and for helping to make a difference in the lives of our children.
